It is with great pleasure today that we announce that AUB Group has reached an agreement to acquire SUU from IAG.
IAG will continue to provide underwriting capacity to SUU under a long-term binder, providing continuity and stability for our customers and partners. The relationship between SUU and IAG remains incredibly strong with ongoing alignment of goals and objectives.
The team at SUU are excited about this change, which allows SUU to contribute to AUB’s stated strategy of expansion in the Strata sector within Australia, building on an existing involvement with the Longitude underwriting agency brand.
Importantly, for SUU and our valued customers, brokers and supply partners we continue to operate under our existing arrangements and approaches.
What does this mean for you?
There will be no change to the current processes and external arrangements. SUU will continue to work with all of our existing partners on delivering mutually beneficial outcomes in the same manner as we have previously.
Importantly, SUU and Longitude will continue to operate as two separate offerings and provide ongoing choice in a highly competitive strata insurance marketplace.
The SUU workforce remains in place and looks forward to continuing to work with the market as we move into this exciting new chapter for our organisation.
