Hello everyone,

This year marks SUU’s twentieth year of delivering peace of mind to the Australian strata community and it was exciting to kick off such a special year with the release of our new branding that reflects not only our traditions of personalised service and specialised expertise but also our strong focus on the future. We appreciate the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received from many of you on this new look.

Our twentieth year so far has been one of renewed capability and positive change as we continue to roll out a series of exciting enhancements to the customer and partner experience we pride ourselves on and also look to overcome the challenges faced by us as well as the broader strata community.

Customer-led digital capabilities continue to be core to our business, reflecting the reality that convenience and speed of transaction are vital to success in our current and future market. Through the financial year we rolled out numerous enhancements to our digital capabilities, many utilising the emerging technologies that will dominate the digital landscape of the future. These capabilities will undergo greater upgrades over the coming months as we look to migrate our business onto a new business-wide platform that will generate significantly improved efficiencies and benefits for our customers and partners.

Empathy and support for strata communities throughout Australia remained embedded within our business across the financial year, as we carried forward our support to those communities, like Northern Australia, that are most in need of the peace of mind of quality strata insurance solutions. We are also proud of the work we have begun to undertake in growing awareness and understanding of cyber risk and resilience within the strata management industry. We look forward to growing this support into next financial year and sharing insights on this increasingly important area of focus.

Bringing all this together are our exceptional people, who remain passionate about being there when it counts for our partners and customers, whether that be in providing fair and prompt claims response, underwriting support, market leading strata insurance coverage or innovative solutions to new and traditional challenges faced by the strata community.

But most importantly, we want to take the time to recognise and thank all our customers, distribution partners and suppliers for their ongoing support across, not only the last financial year, but also the 19 that came before it.
